The Yoga of Letting Go

I have been preparing to give a workshop at Breathe in Los Gatos next month. The subject will develop around the concept of aparigraha or non-attachment. I enjoy the process of considering my approach, feeling my way through the unraveling and unpacking of ideas, and the meditation involved in finding my truth and honest voice in the presentation of the ideas.

Part of the development of the workshop was the opportunity to write an article for Yoga Times. I did so using the same title as the workshop. In it I work through a small part of the process of using yoga to let go of unhealthy attachment. You can read it here.

How does attachment impact your life? What are the negative and positive ways you deal with it? I would be interested to know.
